About the Job:

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will primarily work on web scraping and data extraction tasks, contributing directly to live production systems. This role is highly hands-on and technical, requiring problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in working with unstructured and messy data sources. More than 60% of your work will involve building and maintaining data extraction pipelines using Python. Based on your performance and interests, you may also get exposure to analytics tasks and AI-powered systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize web scrapers to extract customer reviews and data from multiple platforms.
• Develop email scraping solutions for outreach and cold email systems.
• Handle dynamic websites, pagination, JavaScript-rendered content, and anti-bot mechanisms.
• Clean, validate, and structure scraped data for downstream use.
• Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with backend and AI teams to integrate extracted data into products.
• Debug, monitor, and improve scraper reliability and performance.
• Document scraping logic, data flows, and edge cases.
• Continuously improve extraction techniques and adapt to website changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Python (mandatory).
• Strong interest in data extraction, automation, and problem-solving.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and focus.
• Logical thinking and persistence in solving extraction challenges.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
• Self-learner mindset — able to research, experiment, and learn independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior exposure to web scraping tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or BeautifulSoup.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structures.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, or CSV data formats.
• Interest in analytics, dashboards, or data-driven decision-making.
• Exposure to AI/LLM tools or automation workflows is a plus.
