About the Job:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with our key clients. You will act as the main point of contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and aligning client needs with our product offerings. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, helping clients achieve their objectives while contributing to TechUp Labs’ growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Understand client needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions and ensuring alignment with TechUp Labs’ offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to retain clients and drive account growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and product development, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor client satisfaction through regular check-ins, feedback collection, and performance reviews.
  • Handle contract renewals, negotiations, and upsell opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Track and report on key account metrics, including customer retention and account performance.
  • Identify risks to account success and proactively resolve client issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of account management processes and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Experience with CRM software and account management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client data and identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing client expectations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in account management or customer success (e.g., CSPO, CSO) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in account management within a product-based or IT company.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
  • Understanding of financial metrics and account profitability.
  • Experience with customer success platforms and processes.
