About the Job:

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern websites and landing pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and content teams to build websites that are user-friendly, responsive, and performance-optimised. This role requires solid frontend fundamentals, hands-on WordPress experience, and an eye for layout, usability, and visual consistency. You will focus primarily on website pages and frontend development rather than complex application logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and visually appealing website pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress.
• Convert UI/UX or design mockups into fully functional web pages.
• Customise WordPress themes and layouts as per project requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices.
• Integrate plugins, forms, and third-party tools when required.
• Maintain and update existing websites and pages.
• Debug and fix frontend and layout-related issues.
• Follow best practices for code quality, structure, and documentation.
• Collaborate with designers, marketing, and product teams to improve website UX.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Website Developer or Frontend / Web Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress (themes, pages, plugins).
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience building static and dynamic website pages.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems is a plus.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with popular WordPress page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.).
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks or utility libraries (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
• Basic understanding of PHP for WordPress customization.
• Experience working with hosting environments and website deployment.
• Knowledge of website security and performance best practices.
• Prior experience in product-based companies.
