About the Job:
As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales team in identifying and engaging potential clients while learning the fundamentals of SaaS sales. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical skills in lead generation, client communication, product presentations, and sales operations. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals and cross-functional teams to understand how technology-driven solutions are positioned and sold in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in researching and identifying potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Support lead generation efforts through cold outreach, networking, and digital channels.
- Help maintain and update lead databases and CRM tools.
- Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations to understand the SaaS sales process.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and follow-up communication with prospects.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand product offerings and value propositions.
- Track outreach activities and maintain reports on sales progress and engagement.
- Conduct basic market research on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Support the sales team during events, client meetings, and promotional activities.
- Learn and contribute to improving sales processes and outreach strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and technology.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with potential clients.
- Basic understanding of software products or SaaS concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English for effective communication with diverse clients.
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Interest in working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment.
