About the Job:

As an AI Developer, you will be responsible for taking a wide range of technical tasks from start to finish using AI tools, programming knowledge, and available documentation. Your work may include developing new features, fixing bugs, building web scrapers, creating automations, integrating APIs, connecting third-party services, or developing small websites and internal tools. We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand a requirement, use AI to accelerate development, learn unfamiliar technologies independently, and deliver working, tested solutions. You don't need to know every programming language, framework, or tool in advance, but you should be comfortable learning what is required and taking ownership of the task until it is completed successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of assigned technical tasks, including features, bug fixes, web scrapers, automations, API integrations, third-party service integrations, and small website development.
• Use AI coding tools effectively to write, understand, debug, improve, and optimize code.
• Learn new programming languages, frameworks, APIs, libraries, and tools quickly using AI assistance and official documentation.
• Understand task requirements, break complex problems into manageable steps, and identify the most practical implementation approach.
• Develop and implement solutions using the appropriate technologies for each task rather than relying on a single technology stack.
• Review AI-generated code to understand what it does, identify potential errors, and ensure it meets the required functionality and quality standards.
• Test completed work, debug issues, validate edge cases, and verify that the solution works as expected before marking a task as complete.
• Demonstrate working solutions through a functional demo, test results, or another appropriate form of verification.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks, from understanding the requirements and development to testing, deployment where required, and final handover.
• Identify blockers early, troubleshoot independently, and communicate progress, challenges, and estimated completion timelines clearly.
• Maintain readable, maintainable, and secure code while following appropriate development practices.
• Document important implementation details, setup instructions, API configurations, and other information required for future maintenance.
• Continuously explore new AI tools, development workflows, and automation techniques to improve productivity and delivery speed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of programming fundamentals, including variables, functions, loops, conditions, data structures, and error handling.
• Practical familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript.
• Ability to use AI coding assistants effectively to build solutions, understand unfamiliar code, debug errors, and accelerate development.
• Ability to learn a new technology stack, API, framework, or development tool independently using AI and technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of web development, APIs, HTTP requests, JSON, databases, and how different software components communicate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down requirements into actionable technical steps.
• Ability to read and understand code, critically evaluate AI-generated output, and make necessary corrections rather than blindly accepting suggestions.
• A testing mindset, with the ability to verify functionality, identify bugs, and demonstrate that completed work actually works.
• Strong ownership and accountability, with the ability to take a task from initial requirements to a verified, working solution.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver tasks within agreed timelines.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions, report blockers, and present completed work.
• A willingness to experiment, adapt, and learn continuously in a fast-paced product development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building projects using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
• Experience developing web applications, scripts, web scrapers, bots, or workflow automations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, third-party integrations, webhooks, and authentication mechanisms.
• Basic knowledge of Git, version control, debugging tools, and software testing practices.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and basic data processing.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, deployment tools, or hosting services.
• Previous experience completing personal projects, freelance assignments, internships, or practical software development tasks.
• A portfolio of working projects, GitHub repositories, demos, or other examples demonstrating the ability to build and deliver solutions.

You don't need to know everything beforehand. However, you must be willing to learn quickly, think critically, and take responsibility for the quality of your work. Our ideal candidate is not necessarily the person who knows the most technologies, but the person who can take an unfamiliar problem, use AI and available resources intelligently, and turn it into a working solution.
